VIENNA, AUSTRIA / COLLARMELE, ITALY: BIOP, the new brand of the BIOGEST-Group, started the construction of its first own plant operation project (OPO) in Italy.
The new project, Collarmele, is located in L’Aquila, Italy, and converts 73,000 tonnes/year of chicken manure and vegetable waste (fennels, carrots, and potatoes) into 500 Nm³/h of biomethane, utilizing BIOGEST PowerRing and PowerDigest technology. The project includes a CO2 liquefaction units.
